Argostoli central square
The central square in Argostoli Kefalonia is a large paved square surrounded by hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants. Often the scene of the many events held in Argostoli, such as concerts and demonstrations. It is the place where everyone comes to hang out, meet friends and while away the morning and evening. The Square is home to the statue of Vallianos one of the towns main benefactors. Behind the statue, across the road, is a small park ideal for young children to run around and play.
