The
small fishing village of Katelios is located between the busy resorts of
“Skala” and “Lourdas” on the south east coast. It
consists of a small harbour, a beach with several restaurants by the sea,
gift shops, mini markets, and car rental.
Accommodation in Katelios is usually of a good standard and is available
in the many apartment complexes or studio blocks. Most of the complexes
boast a range of facilities such as well stocked bars, restaurants, games
rooms, mini golf, Jacuzzi and of course swimming pools.
As for the studio blocks the facilities can be somewhat limited, however
this should not be cause for concern as all the pools are open to the public
and free to use as long as you use the pool bar.
The nightlife in Katelios pretty much revolves
around the restaurants and tavernas, some with live entertainment, Greek
dancing or barbeques usually the biggest decision you have to make is which
one to go to!

a late night drink or nightcap most of the pool bars stay open late. 
In
general this is a low key, laid back town, for people who want to come and
unwind without tacky tourist shops every few feet along the street. |
