This is definately one of the nicest places we have been too. Good food, good service, good prices. Plus discount which we also got on the jewellery. One way to make a sale but no complaints at all!!!!! At lassi there is a lovely couple that they are together for over 12 years. He is Albanian and she is English.The were no friends of the "diamond" they just had some drinks together. The man is working at zorbas taverna at the area of lassi for many, many years and 2 years ago the english girl helped at the bat of that taverna twice a week.The girl was tired of the night job sa the owner of the taverna gave her a day-time job in the nearby gift shop.THE DIAMOND this year wrote fake messases in another web site that the shop is desert ecc without the english girl that she went there last month and it was disapointing.If the taverna closes both the boy and the girl will lose their jobs.SHE IS EVIL

I want to stop this topic about Lynda.Too much attention about an ex-employer of our business.Our business was never dead,and sure is not dead this year. Our bar is one of the oldest in the resort.we were always a cocktail lounge bar with a wonderfull garden under the stars.We offer really strong, genuine drinks drinks and over a 100 cocktails for good value for money. (4.5e)w e are not a club, there are some excellent other clubs in the area that you can visit.so if you prefer relaxing and enjoy your drinks in a friendly atmosphere you will find that is a perfect place for you.If on the other side you like clubbing so simple club (in the nearby area) is the ideal place for you, if you like sports there some sports pubs-bars in the area-lassi has everything.All the businesses are family business very friendly. lassi is wonderfull, different people can find what they want.i want to say a big thank you to all our friends that sent this posts and i am looking forward to see you again

I have known Lynda for the last 7 yrs. The reports about her on this web site make me feel ashamed to be Greek! Lynda is beautiful inside as well as outside! The problem for her was so much jealousy towards her becouse she was always popular with the holiday makers!! Here in Greece when we say " i had the best time in my life" we mean great beaches, a lot of food and plenty of music and drinking...and of course without spending a lot of money...so when you reach Lassi go streight ahead to Da Veronica's!!!! Some of us remember this lady being a bit of a show-off when working in different places. Lynda you must also not alter what other people say. Mrs Vanessa never said 20,000 a week, she said 20,000 a month, which is approximately right, if you make a logical equation of lets say 25 flights a week multipled in the worst scenario with 150 out of 240 seats, this makes a number of about 14,000 people per month (and this an estimate figure)..She never put Interpol in the discussion also!!Also if you are trying to put other people's names in the notes you sent it is very nasty and bad..By the way, for the money you owe in UK to some friends you have hurt very much with the way you treated them and you also got their music from the CDs they copied for you (if you recall, you kicked them out of your renting property because God know why) plus for the money you owe at the people in the island, you should put your face under your feet and think carefully before saying those bad things, but only if you respect your dignity give them what you owe them and not to try to sabotage them with these false statements..Enough said. I hope you will understand one day you are wrong, but it might be late, as you have already hurted a lot of peoples feelings that did not deserve this at all...

All of the comments left from Lynda and her friends I want to believe that they are false, as I can always remember how nicely a family Mrs Veronica's has and how they treated all the staff equally.Lynda if you are an honest and have bit of respect person, please leave them alone, as they don't deserve this at all. Plus you know better than everybody how you treated some of your friends in UK and Greece and you tried to take advantage of msany issues.If you are also owing these people (both in UK and Greece) money, the least you colud do is to apologise and try to make the most you can and pay them back in cash and not treat them the way you are doing now (this includes both your ex friends in UK and also Greece).Finally, I would appreciate if you show at least some respect not only because there are some other people working there now, but also because in a way you are affecting other people who want to visit my lovely island. I have also just returned from a trip to lassi, and we had a great time - we are a party of 14 people as friends of ours got married - and we have a great time in the bar and rsturant of da veronicas - i see there are lots of bad comments on here for the bar- but the past is the past - we had a ball in te bar - staying up late, choosing the music dancing and having fun with the owners - prices were good too!! give these people a break, and visit da veronicas and see for yourself what a nice bar it is!! see you next year veronica family, x x

I don't suppose you remember me Vanessa, I am the dutch guy that was on holiday in 2007 when Lynda was at the bar. I came to your bar for all the 2 wks I stayed on Kefalonia to see Lynda as she is a very warm and made everyone welcome! I can verify for Lynda that your husband Aleco was ripping people off, I heard lots of people complaining to Lynda that he had stuck 10euros on thier bills, not one or two people! but many people! Your husband thought that the dutch people are stupid as well, he tried to stick 10 euros on my bill one night, but I had wrote every drink I had on a piece of paper, so he came unstuck with me as well!!! Thats a fair amount of extra money he was taking by trying to ripp people off! I also stood by the bar every night and watched him taking the tips Lynda had earned out of her jar and passing it to your Greek bar man! So I witnessed everything Lynda has said and she the only one telling the truth on this web site!!! I went to visit Lynda in the u.k in winter and told her what I told her when she worked at your bar, that she is far too good to be working for people like you!!!!! I am pleased for Lynda as she is doing really well now and she knows all the people that love her from the u.k to Kefalonia to Holand!!! I bet you didn't expect to hear from me did you!!! How much are you paying the people Lauren and Diane to boost up your bar!!!!

We have just returned from 2 weeks holiday in Lassi, we spent quite a lot of time in daVeronica, not only drinking but eating in their beautiful restaurant. We found Vanessa very kind and honest. We enjoyed her theme nights so much. In fact we have told lots of friends to head their on their next visit. To say that the place was very quiet is not true.

Vanessa has got it wrong again! I am 57 not 65! I did not leave this bar i was treated very badly! I spoke out about the owner Aleco sticking 10 euros on peoples bills! He thought that people were stupid! He was also robbing the tips of the staff! All the british were compaining to me about him trying to rip them off!!!!! I did not agree to there policy of ripping people off so I was victamised out of this bar!!!! The customers who saw what was happening to me were dissgusted!!! As the mananging director of Veronica;s i will inform our customers that we had an employer named Lynda aged 65 for the a period from june 2007- till september 2007 amd from May 2008 till June 2008.We were offering a part time job from 6 or 7 O clock in the afternoon till midnight about for a PR lady.We offered 35 euros per night full insurance, plus the expenses for the taxi coming and leaving the shop and extra bonus for the two party nights, plus half price meal in the restaurant and 2 or 3 free drinks every night.The esecond year we offered a plus of 300 euros per month for the appartment.Mrs Lynda applied for the job and had a legal contract with these money.Maybe in UK 900 euros per month are peanuts but in Greece the payments for 8 hours of work are 650 euros with no extras and the salary of a doctor is 1100 eyros per month.The Pr lady had to take care of customers (no serving) and to organise 2 times a week special event nights.It was Mrs Lynda that insisted to play her own music twice a week while our business is using professional sound system with more than 30.000 tracks.Mrs Lynda hasn't been sent away, she quit her job.She disagreed with the policy of the business to play Mrs Lyndas music only twice a week and not every night and with the policy that our staff even if they work in a bar cannot be drunk during their working hours.We are a family business it is true,and as a "greedy" family we found Mrs Lynda a home to stay, we paid her telephone bill when she was sort of money, we washed her clothing because she didn't have a washing machine and all these"terrible" things. We are a greek family and we have a greek family business and we enjoy the way we run our bar. We love our job and we do our best.If our customers find that our bar is very quit, that is not necessary negative,they can always enjoy in peace our garden.Thank you Vanessa Gerostathou.

I worked at this bar last year with lynda for about 4 wks. they drove lynda out after copying all her music, these people are a very nasty greedy family! i can back lynda up all the way as i saw what they did to her! They are the worst people in the world to work for and i got out as soon as lynda left as the same was happening to me!!!! They pay peanuts and drive you like slaves!!!!!The brits are not stupid they new lynda was the best!!!! all the customers loved lynda and thats why this bar was busy whilest she was there!!!! we agree, lynda was treated very badly at this bar, we met lynda 5yrs ago on kefalonia, she is a lovely person and worked herself to a frazle to get this bar going as it was going to close before lynda went and helped them to get things right. this bar went from the quietest bar on the strip to the busiest within weeks of lynda sorting it out!!! the proof is in the pudding! it has now gone back to being the quietest bar since they drove lynda out!!!! We were there in june and it was dead!!!! there loss lynda!!!! we all love you!!!!

We have been coming to Kefalonia for the last ten yrs. We met Lynda back in 2002, she is a very lovely lady and I would believe her above all these horrible statements about her! Lynda has many many friends in the u.k who support her indefinatly! Her friends are all over the u.k from Scotland down to bournmouth, all her friends are disgusted at how these owners of this bar treated her!!! We all give her updates as to how this bar is doing and for sure it has gone down hill!!! Only Lynda new what the brits liked, thats why she was so popular!!!Lynda owes nobody anything!!! These people are liers as well as exploiters!!! Lynda has now got her own company up and running where she is apprieciated and loved by many in the u.k. She is now getting paid the money she deserved, not a meesly 30 euros a night like this bar paid her!!!!!

Hi to all in Da Veronica’s...I’m very unhappy to hear the bad comments left from some people regarding the restaurant, especially when they do not show respect some issues related to the people who work or worked there .The people working there always tried to serve the customers at the max potential as possible..Feel very sorry for Lynda as she is commenting on her own music, which I hope she will be honest to say from whom she got the music from, as the person she got her music from was treated from her to say the least very badly and she took advantage from the love she was given from some people...Da Veronica you will always be in my heart, especially the people I worked there with, such as Giannis, Christos and Kostas, as all tried to make me feel very nice in my short spell there..Additionally Anna and Vaggelis who are there now are giving a nice atmosphere in the restaurant with their friendly approach to the customers, who always should feel welcome to visit the place again.. We went in this bar whilst on holiday this year. We were given a reciept for the first drink but didn't get a reciept for the other 3 drinks we had, when we got our bill we were charged for 5 drinks each! We told the owner we had only had 4 drinks each but he insisted we pay for 5 drinks each! We paid the bill and left and never went back! After talking to other holiday makers on the resort og Lassi we were told by a few other people that this had happend to them also! Our advise is if you go to this bar do insist on a reciept for every drink!!!!!

I worked for this bar last year, I created all the theme nights and plussed their takings over 100 My ideas and personality is what got this bar busy! The music they had on their computer was rubbish, I took my cds with all the best music on for the British. The thanks I got was that behind my back they copied all my music last year they exploited me and then victamised me at the start of this season, after getting all they wanted! They have since tried to copy all my theme nights, but it has not worked and reports I am getting back from friends on holiday is that the bar is not busy this year! Don't they understand it was my personality that drew the customers in! Also no copy is as good as the original!!!

My husband and I went to Da Veronica bar most nights last year. We were back on holiday to Kefalonia at the begining of September. What happend to the atmosphere! Last year was great, but sorry its thumbs down this year! No atmosphere at all and bar was very quiet!
