Just read the comments that this owner has put on another restaurant, Da Veronica, this person who owns this restaurant Aquamarina must be SICK to write such obscured and dissgusting comments!!! I would let every one know to read the comments he has put on Da Veronica first before they go to the Aquamarina!!!!!

We stayed at The Lorenzo Hotel last Summer which is a short stroll away from this lovely Taverna.Tucked down a lane in a quiet spot this is a truly lovely place to eat and drink. The outdoor setting with vines and plants is typically Greek and the views across the Bay are stunning. We ate and used the bar here many times after trying other local places in the area, as the ambience couldn't be beaten. The Food was first class and Nikos the owner and chef is a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming he always made time to chat to all his Customers. The waiters and Bar staff were also friendly and attentive. After visiting Kefalonia many times, we felt that this must be one of the best Taverna's we have been to with all the right qualities.

We stayed in hotel mediterrane in early August. We loved the Aqua marina and spent most nights there. Nico is first class owner and cooks the best steaks you have ever had in your life. Friendly place where you're visit is welcomed by all the staff and regulars. Good music three nights a week from Geordie and Dutch musicians. Got engaged while away, will be back next year.Best regards Nick.

Wow. I had such a laugh at Aqua Marina. Its a lovely place, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. I would go back to Kefalonia, for many reasons, and the Aqua Marina is one of them. :]

You HAVE to go to Aqua Marina to meet Nicos and Marcus. A warm welcome will greet you, cool beers and lovely scrummy food. We wish we'd found it sooner in our holiday and will definitely be returning next year!

i have been to kefalonia 3 times now and we always go to the marina in lassi the food and service is fab. A new owner has just taken command there he is a very nice bloke. He comes from new york, he moved to america from greece when he was young.

Great place to eat!! and great atmosphere!! just came back from a weeks holiday and we ate there nearly every night after trying another place in town but the food was nowhere near up to the same standard as this place!! Great menu and very friendly staff@!!! would highly recommend!!!
