Just came back from Katelios, me and my family visited four different restaurants along with this main strip here and this was probably our favourite. Lovely greek waitress was very pleasant and wasn't trying to get you in the door. Food very good of course as well!

We had read wonderful reviews about this restaurant and were expecting to experience some fine Kefalonian cuisine, but sadly were left feeling very disappointed. We had a selection platter to start which was ok but semed mostly to have been cooked from frozen and not fresh. Then for the main courses we ordered Pork Souvlaki and Kefallonian meat pie and both were very disappointing. The souvlaki was tough and arrived at a lukewarm temperature, and the meat pie was worse as it was virtually cold and not fresh, it tasted like a processed product rather than the home-cooked quality we had been expecting. Both courses were served with cold cooked vegetables that tasted like they were out of a tin.
We left most of the food and paid as soon as we could feeling very disappointed. One good thing i can say was that the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

HelloWe are organizing a convention for 180 persons next year at the AKS hotel in Porto Heli and our contact at the hotel gave us the name of your restaurant as an idea to organize a dinner for the entire group with maybe some music (group or dj or typical show). First, do you have enough space to welcome such a big group? If so, could you give us a quotation?Thank you in advance,Ms Stephanie Sauvee

We have visited Katelios for the past four years and will be there for the second time this year in June. Ostria is our favourite restaurant. Maria the owner always has a welcoming smile and time for a chat, whilst Dan and his wife provide an excellent service. What we like is the fact that you can stroll up to the restaurant without being hassled to come in and eat, as you are at all the other restaurants on the sea front. The food is excellent and once tried I am sure it will become your favourite restaurant also.

Dan and Mira are fantastic hosts and the restaurant is reasonably priced compared to the rest of the Island. Generally prices in Kefallonia have shot up and drink is expensive, however the restaurant is great.
