Christos Kambanos started the first Sto' Psito Restaurant in Argostoli in 1990, with its whitewashed walled garden filled with beautiful plants, wild flowers and trees it was easy to see why it was so popular with locals and tourists alike. Open from 9.00 am for Breakfast and serving food all day till late.

Tragedy struck in January 2000 and the place was destroyed by fire. Subsequently Christos moved to where Sto' Psito is now, a pretty restaurant set around a large pond with all manner of aquatic wildlife, Terrapins, Fish, and the like. Crossing the pond to the shaded dining area is an ornate bridge. The rest of the Restaurant looks like an English garden, potted flowers, wild growing ivy, a wishing well, all create the magical atmosphere of Sto' Pi sto Restaurant.
